Judy Niemeyer Quilting is excited to announce a new and improved release of her classic Wedding Star Pattern! This pattern relies on revised foundation units and includes updated cutting directions which result in floating points and fewer seams.
This kit includes enough foundation papers to construct an 80" x 80" quilt top, the background and star fabrics, and pre-cut 2 1/2" strips that have been arranged into 11 color groups using the original Hoffman fabrics used in the quilt top as shown. Also included are detailed, illustrated instructions, all paper foundations and layout sheets. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto the foundation units. Curved piecing and traditional piecing skills are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed.
